Italian Modernist chiseled glass chandelier in the style of Fontana Arte. It was produced in Italy in the 1960´s. It features chromium-plated structure and the so-called frozen broken glass. Hand-cut, hand-chipped glass segments are suspended by polished chrome ball fittings in a staggered manner around a polished chrome frame. Light is emitted from six candelabra style bulbs. Each slab is hand-cut and hand-chipped – a radical physical break away from traditional crystal glass making. Its height can be adjusted to suit. Simple and representative look. In a very well-preserved vintage condition. New wiring. Very intriguing light effect.
