The design of this upholstered chair is originally based on the design by world-renowned designers Mart Stam (under catalog number B43) or possibly Cesca chair by Marcel Breuer.
Subsequently, these chairs were manufactured in various modifications in the licenses of several companies, such as ÚP Závody, Gottwald company, Slezákovy Závody, Vichr a spol, and several others. In this case, it is one of the modified versions, which was produced in some of these companies in the 1930s. The chair is structurally absolutely ok, chrome is in very good condition, the upholstery is probably not original, but has been replaced over the years. These chairs in this version are currently quite rare.
