Design sofa bed from the Bauhaus, 1930s. It was made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1930s. Czechoslovakia was known in the pre-war period as one of the largest manufacturers of tubular furniture in Europe. This sofa was made by one of the Czechoslovak manufacturers, probably the Slezak Company, Mucke Melder or Gottwald. It features chrome-plated tubular steel, fabric upholstery, lacquered wood. Chromium bears the signs of age and use, including the lack of chromium in several places. On the other hand creates an interesting patina. Due to this, we offer this item at a lower price. The structure is in good working condition, as is the mattress. The sofa is ready for immediate use.
